Baseball Recap: West Muskingum Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

West Muskingum suffered their biggest defeat since April 6, 2024 on Friday. They came up short against the River View Black Bears, falling 7-1. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Tornadoes' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

West Muskingum saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wes Houston, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

West Muskingum's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-5. As for River View, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.

Coming up, West Muskingum will host East Knox at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for River View, they will head out on the road to take on John Glenn at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
