Chamblee extended the longest winning streak in AAAA Region 6A this week by beating Lithonia, 34-0. The victory was the eighth in a row for the Bulldogs.
Marist led the league in scoring this week after putting up 34 points on Stone Mountain.
Chamblee's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bulldogs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Jordan Branch has thrown for 698 yards and seven touchdowns this season, while Desmond Noird has 16 catches for 285 yards. Dezmin Reed leads the league in rushing with 619 yards.
The top two teams in AAAA Region 6A will face off this week when first place Chamblee takes on second place Marist. Last week, Chamblee topped the Bulldogs, while the War Eagles defeated the Pirates.
