Volleyball Recap: Crimson Cliffs Beats Cedar for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Crimson Cliffs entered their tilt with Cedar on Wednesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Reds 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.

While Crimson Cliffs won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-14, 25-23.

Grayson Jones paced Crimson Cliffs' offense, picking up 12 kills. Jones got some help from Nathan Dana and his 12 assists.

Crimson Cliffs' victory bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Cedar, they dropped their record down to 7-13 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Crimson Cliffs wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Davis on the 19th. After both having extra time off, Cedar and Dixie will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Reds are facing the Flyers at the right time seeing as the Flyers are stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
