Baseball Recap: Medina Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Medina Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 9-3 to the Rittman Indians.

Noah Landers was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. Those doubles marked the first that he has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Hussey, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Medina Christian Academy's record now sits at 1-3. As for Rittman, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Medina Christian Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lawrence Upper at 5:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for Rittman, they will take on Waterloo at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
