Basketball Recap: Apple Valley Comes Up Short

Apple Valley was the 74-62 winner over Lakeville South when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Apple Valley Eagles were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 67-66 to the Lakeville South Cougars.

Apple Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 20-4. As for Lakeville South, their victory bumped their record up to 13-10.

Apple Valley has already played their next match, a 77-74 win against St. Paul Central on the 22nd. As for Lakeville South, they will face off against Eastview at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
