Midlothian beats Ellison for their eighth straight win

The Midlothian Panthers had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25 points), and they went ahead and made it eight on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Ellison 36-0 at home. The result was nothing new for Midlothian, who have now won six matches by 21 points or more so far this season.
Midlothian's win was their ninth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 8-1. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 26 points. As for Ellison, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.
Midlothian will head out on the road to face off against Red Oak at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Red Oak is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Ellison, they will be playing at home against Lake Belton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lake Belton presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Ellison in Texas (Lake Belton is ranked 107th, while Ellison is ranked 569th).
