Basketball Recap: Whitmore Lake Triumphs

Canton Preparatory came into Friday's game looking for another win against Whitmore Lake, but Nate Dillon wouldn't allow it. The Whitmore Lake Trojans came out on top against the Canton Preparatory Chargers by a score of 62-52 on Friday thanks in part to Dillon, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten boards. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Whitmore Lake's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Fair, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 boards. What's more, he also racked up four steals, the most he's had since back in December of 2023.

Whitmore Lake now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Canton Preparatory, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Whitmore Lake and Clarenceville will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clarenceville has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Canton Preparatory, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Center Line Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
