Volleyball Recap: Berean Christian Comes Up Short at Home Against Leonard

Berean Christian unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Leonard Lancers by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lancers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Berean Christian started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-20, 15-5.

Berean Christian has already played their next matchup (against Atlantic Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Leonard, they are taking a road trip to square off against Santaluces at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
