Baseball Recap: South Cameron Comes Up Short

South Cameron came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 17-2 to the Elizabeth Bulldogs. The Tarpons haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

South Cameron now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Elizabeth, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Cameron will square off against Evans at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Elizabeth, they will take on Ville Platte at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
