Soccer Recap: Highland Park Comes Up Short

Highland Park lost against Maine South back in May of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Giants came up short against the Hawks, falling 4-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Highland Park were already down 3-0.

Highland Park has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12-2 record this season. As for Maine South, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6-3.

Highland Park and Maine South are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Giants will challenge Glenbrook North at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Maine South, they will face off against Elk Grove at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
