Football Recap: Rosa Fort Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Rosa Fort easily dispatched Ripley last Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Lions fell just short of the Clarksdale Wildcats by a score of 32-30 on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi football rankings (they are ranked 126th, while the Wildcats are ranked 50th).

Despite the loss, Rosa Fort still got an impressive performance from Christian Alexander, who rushed for 196 yards and a pair of TDs. The team also got some help courtesy of Gregory Hargrow, who gained 131 total yards and two touchdowns.

Rosa Fort's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Clarksdale, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

As of now, neither Rosa Fort nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
