Volleyball Game Preview: Chavez Eagles vs. Arleta Mustangs + How To Watch

The Chavez Eagles are taking a road trip to face off against the Arleta Mustangs at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The last three games Chavez has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Chavez saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of Community Charter by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Arleta suffered their biggest loss since October 17, 2024 on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to Grant. The loss was the Mustangs' first of the season.

While Arleta had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-20, 25-20.

Having lost for the first time this season, Arleta fell to 9-1. As for Chavez, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.

Chavez might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Arleta in their previous matchup on September 3rd. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
