Bearden has gone 8-2 against Farragut recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bulldogs will take on the Admirals at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Bearden's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last four matchups.

Bearden's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on William Blount with a sharp 4-0 victory. Bearden haven't had any issues with William Blount recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Farragut faced Hardin Valley Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. Neither the Admirals nor the Hawks could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Bearden pushed their record up to 13-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four games. Farragut's draw gives them a new season record of 8-3-2.

Everything went Bearden's way against Farragut in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as Bearden made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
