Softball Recap: Rogers Comes Up Short

After flying high against Hope on Tuesday, Rogers came back down to earth. The Vikings lost 14-0 to the East Greenwich Avengers on Friday. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 10-3 to the Avengers when the teams met back in May of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Rogers now has a losing record of 4-5. As for East Greenwich, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

Rogers didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-2 victory against Middletown on the 29th. As for East Greenwich, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 17-1 win against North Providence on the 29th.
