Baseball Recap: Northeast Comes Up Short

Northeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 22-0 to the Winnetonka Griffins. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 7-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Northeast's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Winnetonka, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northeast will head out to square off against North Kansas City at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Winnetonka, they will venture away from home to face off against Fort Osage at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
