Volleyball Recap: Phoenix Gets the Win

After losing to South Umpqua the last time they met, Phoenix decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Pirates walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Lancers on Saturday.

Phoenix's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for South Umpqua, they moved to 3-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Phoenix wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Eagle Point on the 8th. As for South Umpqua, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Myrtle Point on the 9th.
