            Basketball Recap: Osceola Kowboys vs. Altamonte Christian Eagles        
        
		
        
        
            Osceola was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They took  a  55-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Altamonte Christian Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Kowboys can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings  (they are ranked 426th, while the Eagles are ranked 152nd).
 When it comes to explaining why Osceola lost, don't look at  Keyanna S.. Despite the final result, she  posted 24  points. That was a full 51.1% of Osceola's points, marking the third time in a row she's   put up  more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was  Patricia R., who  scored ten  points.
 Altamonte Christian got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Alexis Hill out in front who  almost  dropped  a double-double on 14 points and nine  rebounds. Hill has been hot for a while, having  posted nine or more  boards the last nine times she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kayleigh Cooper, who  earned 15  points along with six  assists and five  steals.
Osceola's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Altamonte Christian, the  victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 10-1.
 Osceola didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  41-31  defeat against Davenport on the 19th. As for Altamonte Christian, they also  wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  game,  a  37-32  win against St. Augustine on the 19th.
