Volleyball Recap: Contra Costa Christian Takes a Loss

Contra Costa Christian and Redwood Christian squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Contra Costa Christian had to settle for second. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0. Considering the last time the Cougars couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

Contra Costa Christian took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-20, 25-22.

Contra Costa Christian dropped their record down to 16-11 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Redwood Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 13-11.

Contra Costa Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Redwood Christian, they will head out on the road to square off against St. Joseph Notre Dame at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
