Soccer Game Preview: Victoria West vs. Randle

The Victoria West Warriors will face off against the Randle Lions at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Victoria West is coming into the match hot, having won their last seven games.

Last Tuesday, Victoria West made easy work of Fort Bend Kempner and carried off a 6-1 win. Considering the Warriors have won eight contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Randle came up short against Victoria East on Tuesday and fell 5-3.

Victoria West's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those five games. As for Randle, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.

Victoria West took their win against Randle in their previous matchup back in January by a conclusive 7-1. In that matchup, Victoria West amassed a halftime lead of 5-1, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
