Softball Recap: Stark County Comes Up Short

Stark County lost against Knoxville on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Rebels came up short against the Blue Bullets, falling 21-2. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Abby Nagode was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and two RBI.

Stark County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Knoxville, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-5.

Coming up, Stark County is taking a road trip to challenge Princeville at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Knoxville, they will welcome Illinois Valley Central at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
