Football Recap: Trinity Prep Find Success

The Trinity Prep Saints were able to grind out a solid victory over the Harvest Community Warriors on Thursday, taking the game 26-13. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Saints.

Josh Shaw continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 131 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries. His longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards.

When it comes to explaining why Harvest Community lost, don't look at Andrew Posey. Despite the final result, he rushed for 118 yards and one score, and also threw for 130 yards and one TD.

Trinity Prep now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Harvest Community, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Trinity Prep is taking a road trip to challenge Father Lopez at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th. As for Harvest Community, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Stanton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors will be up against the Blue Devils' rather soft defense (which has allowed 26 points per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
