Volleyball Recap: Thunder Ridge Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Thunder Ridge lost against Rigby on Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Titans came up short against the Trojans, falling 3-0. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Thunder Ridge was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-22, 25-22.

Their offense was headlined by Jeslynn Furniss and Giulia Johns, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Avery Kunz and her 16 assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Thunder Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Rigby, they have been performing well recently as they've won 14 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-6 record this season.

Thunder Ridge will square off against Madison at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rigby, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Highland on the 2nd.
