Plainfield North has gone 7-1 against Plainfield South recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Tigers will venture away from home to take on the Cougars at 4:30 p.m.

Plainfield North is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Glenbard West just ended the team's eight-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 2-0 to the Hilltoppers. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Plainfield North couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, Plainfield South had just enough and edged out Thornwood 4-3 on Monday. It was an even better day for Jasmine Acosta as she scored three goals for her team.

Plainfield South's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Plainfield North, the loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 9-2.

Plainfield North beat Plainfield South 3-1 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
