Baseball Recap: Person Comes Up Short

After flying high against Orange last Friday, Person came back down to earth. The Rockets fell 12-8 to the Southern Alamance Patriots on Tuesday. The Rockets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Brennen Kiser made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. EJ Palmer also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Person's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Southern Alamance, they pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home.

Person didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 8-7 victory against East Wake on the 3rd. Hopefully Southern Alamance payed attention to the Rockets' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Rockets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
