For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Andover and Rogers meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Huskies took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Royals. That's two games in a row now that the Huskies have lost by exactly three runs.

Alex Kostecka spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and three unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up six Ks.

On the hitting side, Andover saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Laci Heppell, who went 1-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
