After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lassiter, Sprayberry was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They blew past the Wheeler Wildcats 20-1. Considering the Yellow Jackets have won eight contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Macey Bowen was a standout: she went 3-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles. What's more, she also racked up three hits, the mostshe's had since back in September of 2023. Peyton Beasley was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Sprayberry always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .676. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wheeler only posted an OBP of .429.

The victory snapped Sprayberry's losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 9-17 record. As for Wheeler, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-15.

Sprayberry will host Pope at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wheeler, they will head out to challenge North Cobb at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Cobb is coming into the match with seven straight wins at home, so Wheeler will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum.
