Softball Recap: Wharton Comes Up Short

After flying high against Brazos last Tuesday, Wharton came back down to earth. The Wharton Tigers came up short against the Industrial Cobras on Thursday, falling 11-4. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Cobras recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Wharton's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Industrial, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Wharton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-0 defeat against Van Vleck on the 13th. As for Industrial, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 17-1 victory against Bloomington on the 13th.
