Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Luke's Episcopal). They blew past the Escambia County Blue Devils 19-3 on Monday. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Colton Duke and Russ Warner made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Duke pitched four innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. Meanwhile, Warner tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. At the plate, Duke scored two runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances, while Warner scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Those runs marked the first that Duke scored this season.

In other batting news, St. Luke's Episcopal let Andrew Thomas and Jeremy Menhennett run wild. Thomas got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI, while Menhennett scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Those two stolen bases gave Thomas a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Turner Tillman, who scored two runs and stole Three bases. while getting on base in four of his six plate appearances.

St. Luke's Episcopal always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .587. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Escambia County only posted an OBP of .333.

St. Luke's Episcopal picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 5-2. As for Escambia County, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
