Soccer Recap: Cincinnatus Central Comes Up Short

Cincinnatus Central was the 1-0 winner over Marathon when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Lions fell just short of the Olympians by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Cincinnatus Central haven't been shut out since back in August.

Cincinnatus Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Marathon, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 12-0-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Cincinnatus Central will head out to face off against Brookfield Central at 4:30 p.m. on the 15th. As for Marathon, they will venture away from home to take on South Kortright Central at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
