Basketball Recap: Unalakleet Snags Eighth Victory in Last Nine Games

Unalakleet won the last time they faced Unalaska and things went their way on Friday too. The Unalakleet Wolfpack came out on top against the Unalaska Raiders by a score of 51-40. Given the Wolfpack's advantage in MaxPreps' Alaska basketball rankings (they are ranked tenth, while the Raiders are ranked 81st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Unalakleet has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. This is the second loss in a row for Unalaska and nudges their season record down to 4-9.
