Baseball Recap: East Clinton Comes Up Short

East Clinton lost to Bethel-Tate back in April of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Astros fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 5-4.

Aidan Warner was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Peyton Lilly, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one double and one RBI.

East Clinton's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Bethel-Tate, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

While East Clinton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
