Volleyball Recap: Clovis East Comes Up Short

Clovis East lost against Buchanan on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Timberwolves fell 2-0 to the Bears.

Despite the loss, Clovis East still got an impressive performance from Keniah Verduzco, who had eight digs, two blocks, and two aces.

Rylie Ramirez was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 12 digs and one assist.

Clovis East's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Buchanan, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-1.

Clovis East has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Centennial on the 23rd. As for Buchanan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Clovis on the 23rd.
