There's no place like home for Marietta, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They took their matchup on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 71-39 win over the North Cobb Warriors. The victory continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won eight in a row.

Marietta found their leader in sophomore Leah DeWitt, who went 8-for-18 on her way to 27 points and four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which DeWitt has scored at least a third of the Blue Devils' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zo? Williams, who shot 43% from the field en route to 15 points.

Marietta smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds every time they've taken the court this season.

Marietta's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for North Cobb, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
