Haines City's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Zebrelle Canaday, who scored 21 points, and Arissa Jenkins who scored 21 points. Jenkins scored a full 40.4% of Haines City's points, the seventh time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Central Florida Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Haines City, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-3.
Central Florida Christian Academy and Timber Creek will face off at 6:30 p.m. on January 4th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (Timber Creek is ranked 49th, while Central Florida Christian Academy is ranked 53rd).
