Football Recap: Burke Takes a Loss

Burke lost against Woodland back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bulldogs were dealt a 56-0 defeat at the hands of the Wolverines. The Bulldogs' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Burke's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Woodland, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-4.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Burke is set to square off against their familiar foe Andrews at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Woodland will challenge rival Academic Magnet at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
