Volleyball Recap: Dwyer's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak at Home

Dwyer came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Jupiter Warriors, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

While Dwyer was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Jupiter's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-17, 25-22.

Dwyer's defeat ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-10. As for Jupiter, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Dwyer and Cardinal Newman will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Jupiter, they will welcome Benjamin at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
