Softball Recap: Southern Lee Comes Up Short

Southern Lee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 8-0 to the Hoke County Bucks. Cavaliers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Bucks since on Tuesday.

Southern Lee saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sydney Bisson, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

Southern Lee's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Hoke County, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-4.

Coincidentally, Southern Lee and Hoke County will both be playing Union Pines the next time they take the field. The Bucks will host the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Cavaliers will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
