Fillmore came tearing into Saturday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 5-2 win over the Arkport Central Wolves. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in June of 2025.

Fillmore's victory bumped their record up to 17-2. As for Arkport Central, they moved to 12-5 with that defeat, which also ended their eight-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Fillmore will challenge Ellicottville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Fillmore 2, Ellicottville 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned. Arkport Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
