Soccer Recap: Goldwater Comes Up Short

Goldwater was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 5-1 to the Thunderbird Titans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 9-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2015.

Their goal came courtesy of Jocelyn Ibanez Mireya, who's now up to two this season.

Goldwater's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Thunderbird, they pushed their record up to 3-8 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Goldwater has already played their next game, a 4-1 win against Shadow Mountain on the 5th. As for Thunderbird, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 6-0 defeat against Paradise Honors on the 5th.
