Recap: Decatur Eagles vs. Springtown Porcupines
The Decatur Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 98-19 win over Springtown. Decatur has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 21 points or more this season.
Decatur's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Addy Kemp, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kemp has scored all season. Bralyn Peck was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Several Porcupines players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Chloe Kirk, who scored two points along with three steals. Kirk is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Springtown struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only two offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Decatur has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season. As for Springtown, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-12.
