Volleyball Recap: New Ulm Comes Up Short

New Ulm was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Worthington Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on September 2nd.

New Ulm's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Worthington, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-3.

New Ulm has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against West Salem on the 20th. As for Worthington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Mankato East on the 20th.
