Softball Recap: Jefferson Cougars vs. Hampshire Trojans
Jefferson put the finishing touches on their 19th blowout victory of the season on Friday. They never let the Hampshire Trojans onto the board and left with a 14-0 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Jefferson considering their one-run performance the game before.
Kalee Dalton was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with a home run, three runs, and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Becca Munslow, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.
Jefferson's victory bumped their record up to 24-8. As for Hampshire, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-15.
