The Brookhaven Panthers will head out to face off against the Wesson Cobras at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Brookhaven is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10 runs per game this season.

While Brookhaven's win against Bogue Chitto wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Bobcats 7-6. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Bobcats recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Addisyn Tucker spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and two unearned) runs on eight hits.

At the plate, Jayonna Pendleton was excellent, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last three times she's played. Mia Lee also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
