Basketball Recap: Jemison Comes Up Short

Jemison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 80-61 to the Montevallo Bulldogs. The Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in February of 2023.

Jemison's record now sits at 13-6. As for Montevallo, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jemison will head out to take on Selma at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Montevallo, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Demopolis at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
