Meanwhile, St. Helens was just a bucket shy of victory on Wednesday and fell 43-42 to Seaside. The Lions have struggled against the Seagulls recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

St. Helens' defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Astoria, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-10.

Astoria took their victory against St. Helens in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 79-58. Will Astoria repeat their success, or does St. Helens have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
