Basketball Recap: Thursday's Win Is Marist's Tenth in Last 12 Outings

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Marist had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 59-40 win over the Lincoln-Way West Warriors. For the RedHawks, this counts as revenge for the 50-45 victory the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Marist has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-8 record this season. The defeat snapped Lincoln-Way West's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 23-12 record.

Looking ahead, Marist will take on Kenwood at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Kenwood knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 13 games -- so hopefully Marist likes a good challenge. Lincoln-Way West does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
