Pershing County extended their winning streak  to six  on Saturday, bumping their season record up to 11-16 in the process. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Silver Stage Nighthawks  an   11-0 shutout. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season,  with their most recent  win being a  5-4  victory  on Saturday.
 Ayden Montes made a big impact no matter where he played. He  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out 13 over seven innings pitched. He also  tossed  no  earned runs, which is notable because Pershing County is undefeated when he allows at  most  one  earned run, but 8-16 otherwise. Montes was also big at the plate,  going 4-for-5 with three  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  triple. That's the most  hits  he has posted since back in March.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Tyler Miller, who  went 2-for-4 with six  stolen bases and two  runs. Pershing County is undefeated when  Miller posts two or  more  runs, but 7-16 otherwise. Another player making a difference was  Trenton Rhodes, who  went 2-for-5 with two  runs, two  RBI,  and one  double.
As for Silver Stage, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost 18 of their last 19 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-22 record  this season. They just can't catch a break and have now endured 13 defeats in a row.
 On Silver Stage's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Andreu Dubois, who  went 1-for-2 with one  double.
