Midway has gone 9-1 against West Bladen recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Midway Raiders are taking a road trip to challenge the West Bladen Knights at 6:00 p.m. West Bladen took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Midway, who comes in off a win.

Midway took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They snuck past Spring Creek with a 22-17 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Raiders as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, West Bladen played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Clinton and fell 63-30. The Knights have struggled against the Dark Horses recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the loss, West Bladen saw an underclassman step up: freshman Addison Wilcox posted nine points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Natalee Sykes, who had six points.

Midway's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-6. As for West Bladen, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.

Midway came out on top in a nail-biter against West Bladen in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, sneaking past 41-39. Does Midway have another victory up their sleeve, or will West Bladen turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
