Baseball Recap: Tuscaloosa Academy Comes Up Short

Tuscaloosa Academy and Ariton squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Tuscaloosa Academy had to settle for second. They lost 11-1 to the Purple Cats. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Knights have suffered since April 7th.

Tuscaloosa Academy now has a losing record of 18-19. As for Ariton, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-9 record this season.
