Basketball Game Preview: Grandview Greyhounds vs. Prosser Mustangs

Grandview is 1-9 against Prosser since May of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Grandview Greyhounds will venture away from home to take on the Prosser Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. Grandview has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Grandview took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They walked away with a 48-41 win over Toppenish.

Meanwhile, Prosser came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 41.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Vikings 76-49. 76 seems to be a good number for the Mustangs as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Prosser pushed their record up to 19-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.7 points over those games. As for Grandview, their victory bumped their record up to 13-10.

Grandview took a serious blow against Prosser in their previous meeting last Friday, falling 76-41. Can Grandview avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
